2016-08-10 18.48.19 (1)I am a Psychologist, a Psychotherapist, a Jungian analyst and a Training analyst and Supervisor of the Associazione Italiana di Psicologia Analitica (AIPA) and of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP). Formerly AIPA’s Vice-President, International Delegate in several IAAP Executive Committees and member of several IAAP Program Committees, I have served as Personal Analyst and Supervisor in the IAAP Developing Group of Guanzhou (Canton) and I am currently in charge as Liaison Person for the IAAP Hong Kong Developing Group (HKIAP). I am an applied Visiting Analyst in Taipei, Taiwan. Since 2008 I have been a regular teacher in AIPA’s analytical high school in Rome.

I have offered workshops and seminars on analytical psychology at several universities in Italy, China and Taiwan. I am a lecturer in national and international congresses and workshops and the author of many articles and essays on active imagination, Active Deep Writing, masculine and feminine, severe trauma treating and oncologic psychology. I lead cross-cultural groups on active imagination, fairy tales and Active Deep Writing.

I am part of a participatory research team whose aim is to produce theories and practices of management of oncological disease (Department of Education, Humanities and Intercultural Communication, Siena – I am a Professor of Intercultural Psychology at the University of Siena. I am a Consultant and a Supervisor at the Italian Center of Solidarity “Don Mario Picchi Onlus” in Rome.

I have published the books Il mito delle isole felici nelle relazioni di viaggio del Sette-Ottocento (The myth of the happy islands) (with G. Mazzoleni, D’Anna, Messina-Firenze 1975); Oltre il cancro. Trasformare creativamente la malattia che temiamo di più (Beyond Cancer. Transforming creatively the illness we fear most), (Moretti & Vitali, Roma 2010); Pratica dell’immaginazione attiva. Dialogare con l’inconscio e vivere meglio (Practice of active imagination. Dialoguing with the unconscious and living better), (La Lepre, Roma 2011) (Mandarin translation by PsyGarden); Transcultural identities. Jungians in Hong Kong (Artemide Edizioni, Roma 2016) (with T.
